Whilst radar detectors have taken a ‘back seat’ now to the more popular GPS based units, there are still many who prefer the simplicity of the radar detectors, especially as there are no ongoing subscription costs.
 
The previous Bel 550 and the more discreet 966R (car & motorcycle versions) were best sellers in their day and to show the demand for radar detectors is still there, they have produced the Bel RX65 to replace the 550 and the Bel 975R to replace the 966.
 
These still sell well and we expect them to continue to do so for some time.
